Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011

It seems like Christmas gets more and more fun as the years go by! Amy was definitely into Santa this year. She wanted to know exactly how he was going to get down the chimney and what he would do once he got here. She was convinced that Santa was going to come upstairs to see her sleeping!! The Elf on the Shelf made an appearance again this year. I must say that the Elf became quite creative this year in terms of places he appeared after his nightly flight back to the North Pole. Amy was so excited that the Elf "landed" in her bedroom on her birthday. What excitement!! She also was very excited when the Elf brought Christmas jammies for her and Nathan from Santa!

Decorating cookies! Amy again was way into this and loved to cut out the cookies as well as sprinkle them with sugar!! Of course, her favorite part was taste testing the cookies to make sure they were suitable for Santa!!

Sprinkling the reindeer food on the front yard to make sure the Reindeer stopped at our house!

Christmas morning...Nathan wasn't really into opening gifts. However, lucky for him, he has a big sister that was more than happy to help him open gifts!

Catch Up

February 14, 2012

Well, I am seriously behind in blogging. So, I'm going to try and catch up over the next several posts. We go waaaaay back to December for the first post to celebrate Amy's birthday!

December 6, 2011

I can't believe that Amy is four years old! Where has the time gone? She has grown to become such a beautiful, delightful little girl. I continue to feel so blessed to have Amy as my daughter. For her party, she continued the princess theme that she has chosen the last several years. This year, her cake was Princess Tiana (I think because she didn't have that princess cake topper yet). Amy had such a good time welcoming her guests. She was soooo excited when Grandma and Granddad arrived. My goodness. I think they made her party! :)

Balloons are always fun to play with before the party!

Blowing out the candles...no help needed this year!

Nathan enjoyed playing with the wrapping paper.
