Few Pictures

Wednesday, 2-2-11

So, I anticipate that I mainly will be putting pictures up on the blog without much commentary since I'm finding it difficult to get much of anything done! However, I will say that we simply love being a family of four!! We couldn't love Amy anymore and love watching her be so gentle with Nathan. Amy has been trying to figure out this huge adjustment and we've had a couple of rough patches, though I have no doubt that we will all adjust nicely. Nathan is a doll. We continue to feel so blessed to have him and are so happy that he is a part of our family. Nathan remains such a good baby and we praise God for this blessing.

Below are a few pictures from the first week of February.

Gifts for Amy/First Day Home

Friday, 1-28-11

Kurt, Nathan, & I arrived home late on Thursday evening. Nathan did awesome on the ride home...sleeping the entire way home!! When we arrived home, Grandma Murphy was anxiously waiting our arrival and couldn't wait to see her newest grandchild! Amy was sleeping when we arrived, although she woke up at one point. We didn't introduce her to Nathan until the following morning.

The next morning, Amy met Nathan. Amy thought he was okay, but was much more interested in the gifts that her little baby brother had brought her!
Amy was excited that Nathan brought her the laundry room for her doll house (which she has been asking for since Christmas!) and Snow White to go along with her other princess dolls, Sleeping Beauty and Tiana.

Nathan has been such a good baby. Our first full day at home was wonderful. Nathan doesn't get fussy unless he's hungry or has a dirty diaper. He is such a gift from God and we remain so thankful that he is in our family.
Amy reading to Nathan...I'm sure the first time of many!

Nathan Robert Meyer

Tuesday, 1-25-11

Nathan Robert Meyer was born on 1-25-11, weighing 11 pounds, 21 1/2 inches long. We are thrilled that he is part of our family. We have so much love and respect for his birth parents and the selfless choice they made for Nathan.

Our dreams came true....when we became parents to you.
