Murphy Christmas 2010

Sunday, 12-26-10

We headed to Granddad & Grandma Murphy's house after lunch on Christmas Day. Amy was so excited to go there as she had been talking about it all week! Amy loves to play with Grandma's Polly Pockets that she has at her house along with the other toys and books. The next day, we celebrated Christmas with them and Uncle Tim, Aunt Thuydung, & Samantha. We had a delicious brunch and enjoyed opening presents. Amy was such a huge help this year - helping pass out the presents to everyone and then helping everyone open their presents! Amy got a little tired of opening all of her presents and had to take a little break during the middle. We had such a good time spending time with family!

Christmas Morning 2010

Saturday, 12-25-10

Christmas seems to get better and better with each year as Amy gets older. She was so excited to see what Santa had left her...and if he had eaten the cookies left out for him. When we got downstairs, Amy was intrigued by the item by the TV with a blanket over it, though she didn't immediately head for it. Instead, she grabbed her stocking and started taking stuff out. She was thrilled by the "goodies" that Santa left her...especially the M&M's. Amy finally made her way to the blob in the corner and was delighted to discover a doll house under the blanket! However, I think she might have been even more excited by the cookie crumbs that apparently Santa left just for Amy (at least that's what she said about the crumbs!). We had such a wonderful morning watching Amy open her presents. She is by far the best Christmas gift ever!!

of course, she gobbled up the crumbs within seconds of seeing them!
