Pumpkin Patch

We visited a pumpkin patch today that also had a petting zoo and horse rides! Amy enjoyed her first hay ride to the pumpkin patch. We made our way through a corn maze with only a few detours along the way! Amy was a little disappointed that the pumpkins were so big that she wasn't able to pick one up herself! But, we managed to find a smaller pumpkin that she gave her approval of!
Amy also enjoyed looking at all of the different animals, though I think the ducks were her favorite! We all enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and warmer weather, watching Amy run from one animal to the next.
Amy's favorite part of the day, though, was the pony ride. We had told her that the pumpkin patch would have pony rides, and she was asking about them from the time that we got there! Finally, the ponies arrived and she waited very patiently in line so that she can ride the pony. She talked about the pony for the rest of the day!

Daddy's Birthday

Okay, so this post is a little past due...but better late than never.
On 10-1-10, we celebrated Daddy's birthday . Kurt loves his mom's sheet cake so Amy & I baked one for his birthday. Amy was so excited to put the candles on the cake and help Daddy blow out the candles! She also loved eating the cake - yum!
